Probiotic 40 Billion with Prebiotics — Daily Balance
Balance starts inside. Probiotic 40 Billion is formulated to 40 billion CFU at time of manufacture, from four well-researched Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium strains, plus prebiotic fiber to feed them — a complete probiotic with prebiotics for women's daily balance, digestive comfort, and your body's natural defenses.*
Why women choose it
- Supports digestive comfort — less bloat-prone days, more comfortable ones*
- Helps strengthen the body's defenses — the gut is where much of the body's immune tissue sits*
- Gut–hormone connection: a balanced microbiome supports overall wellness through every stage, including the menopausal transition*
- Survives the journey: MAKTREK® Bi-Pass Technology protects strains through stomach acid
What's inside
Four well-researched strains working together: Lactobacillus acidophilus, the classic balance strain; Bifidobacterium lactis for digestive and immune support; and Lactobacillus plantarum and paracasei to complete the team — a formulation specification of 40 billion CFU per serving at time of manufacture, protected through stomach acid by MAKTREK® Bi-Pass Technology and fed by prebiotic fiber so your good bacteria actually thrive. Vegetable capsules, every strain identified on the label.

Questions before you buy
Why does this one say "blend" when your other labels list every dose?
Because live-organism counts are measured for the blend, not split per strain — that is how essentially every probiotic on the market is labelled. So we do the next best thing and name each strain down to its code — the full explanation is in "Why this one says blend" below, and how to read a probiotic label covers why strain codes are what make a probiotic checkable at all.
Does it need refrigeration?
Store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat. The bottle you receive carries the definitive storage instructions — follow those.
How long until I notice a difference?
Probiotics reward consistency: give it 2–4 weeks of daily use. Some people notice a settling-in period in the first few days as the gut adjusts.*
When should I take it?
Two capsules daily — one in the morning, one in the evening works well. MAKTREK® Bi-Pass Technology is what protects the strains through stomach acid, so you do not need to plan around meals.
Is it vegetarian? Any allergens?
Vegetable capsules, no gelatin. No soy and no dairy. The prebiotic fiber is fructooligosaccharide, and there is a complex marine polysaccharide in the formula — worth knowing if you avoid marine-sourced ingredients.
Can I take it with my medication?
We cannot give medical advice. Ask your healthcare professional before starting, particularly if you take medication or your immune system is compromised.

Why this one says "blend"
Our other formulas list every ingredient with its own dose, and this one lists its four strains inside a blend. That is how essentially every probiotic on the market is labelled: live-organism counts are measured for the blend rather than split per strain. So we do the next best thing and name each strain down to its strain code — La-14, Bl-04, Lp-115, Lpc-37 — and print the formulated total of 40 billion CFU per serving, at time of manufacture, with the blend weight. Strain codes are what make a probiotic checkable, because research is run on specific strains, not on species names.
What our paperwork actually covers
We publish the certificate of analysis for this product rather than describe it: Probiotic 40 Billion, batch PB250812 (PDF). It is a manufacturer’s certificate for a representative batch, not the batch in your bottle, and it reports heavy metals by ICP-MS and microbiological safety — lead as a concentration of 0.043 ppm. That certificate gives no serving mass, so there is no honest way to turn it into a per-serving figure, and we would rather leave it as the certificate states it. What it does not report is potency: there is no CFU assay, at manufacture or at expiry. So the 40 billion figure is the manufacturer’s formulation specification, not a number anyone has measured and shown us. We have asked for a potency assay; until it exists we would rather tell you where the number comes from than let it read as tested.
