Magnesium Glycinate — Sleep & Calm
The night is where balance begins. Magnesium Glycinate is the gentle, highly absorbable form of magnesium — bound to glycine so it's easy on your stomach and ideal for evening use. One nightly serving supports relaxation, restful sleep, and post-exercise recovery, night after night.*
Why women choose it
- Supports restful sleep — the wind-down your evenings are missing*
- A perimenopause ally — magnesium glycinate is one of the most popular minerals for supporting sleep and calm during perimenopause and menopause*
- Supports nervous system function and a balanced mood*
- Bone support — magnesium is essential for bone maintenance, especially after 40*
- Gentle on the stomach — glycinate is the form for people other forms upset
What's inside
One thing, done well: magnesium glycinate, the chelated form your body absorbs efficiently and your stomach barely notices. Each serving delivers a meaningful 275 mg of elemental magnesium — 65% of your daily value — in a vegetable capsule with no artificial colors, and every other ingredient named on the label.

- Magnesium (from magnesium glycinate) — 275 mg (65% DV)
- Other ingredients: hypromellose (capsule), magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide, rice flour
How to use
Take 3 capsules once daily, ideally 30–60 minutes before bed. 90 capsules per bottle: a full 30-day supply. Magnesium builds up gently; consistent daily use works best.

Questions before you buy
Why three capsules when other bottles say one?
Because glycinate is bulky. Magnesium bound to glycine takes far more room per milligram of actual magnesium than cheaper forms like oxide, so a meaningful 275 mg of elemental magnesium needs three capsules. A one-capsule bottle is either a smaller dose or a harsher form. The full comparison is here.
Will it knock me out?
It is not a sedative and contains no melatonin. Magnesium supports relaxation and restful sleep rather than forcing it, so expect a gentler effect than a sleep aid.*
When should I take it, and how long until I notice?
Three capsules 30–60 minutes before bed. Magnesium builds up gently with daily use — give it a few weeks of consistency rather than judging it on one night.
Is it gentle on the stomach?
That is the point of the glycinate form. Oxide and citrate are the forms best known for sending people to the bathroom; glycinate is the one usually chosen by people other forms upset.
Is it vegetarian? Any allergens?
Yes — vegetable capsule with a rice flour base, no gelatin. No soy, no dairy, no artificial colors.
Can I take it with my medication?
We cannot give medical advice. Magnesium is a question worth asking your healthcare professional if you take medication or have kidney concerns.

What our paperwork actually covers
We publish the certificate of analysis rather than describe it: Magnesium Glycinate, batch MGL250923 (PDF). It is a manufacturer’s certificate for a representative batch — not the batch in your bottle — and it reports heavy metals by ICP-MS and elemental magnesium. It states its figures against a unit it calls a serving of 926.08 mg — which has to be a single capsule, because the label declares 2,500 mg of magnesium glycinate per three-capsule serving and 2,500 mg does not fit inside 926.08 mg. Read that way, the 96.91 mg of elemental magnesium it measured is per capsule, so the three capsules you take come to 290.7 mg — above the 275 mg the label declares, and above the certificate's own specification of at least 91.6 mg per capsule. Lead it reports as a concentration, 0.023 ppm; on that same 926.08 mg unit our own arithmetic puts it at roughly 0.06 µg across the three-capsule serving, against the 0.5 µg a day that California Proposition 65 sets for lead. The manufacturer's certificate of analysis for a representative batch is available on request.
