This policy explains how Selenewell handles consumer health data. It is separate from our Privacy Policy and applies in addition to it. It is written for residents of Washington State (My Health My Data Act) and Nevada (SB 370), and we apply it to everyone.
Why a supplement store has health data at all
We do not ask you about your health, and we never want you to send us a diagnosis. But the law recognizes something we would rather say out loud: what you buy can imply something about your body. If you order a menopause support formula, that purchase can reasonably suggest a life stage or a symptom. That inference is consumer health data, and it deserves to be handled as such.
What we collect that may be consumer health data
- What you buy and what you look at. Products viewed, added to cart and purchased, including the product name and category.
- What you tell us. Anything you write to us by email — for example, asking whether a formula suits a condition or a medication. We do not require this, and you should never send more than you want to.
- Contact and delivery details linked to those purchases: name, email address, shipping address.
We do not collect precise geolocation, biometric data, health records, or information about health care services you receive elsewhere.
Where it comes from
Directly from you, and from your activity on this website. We do not buy consumer health data, and we do not obtain it from data brokers.
Why we use it
- To take, fulfill and deliver your order, and to handle returns and refunds.
- To answer your questions and provide customer service.
- To understand, in aggregate, which products people view and buy, so we can decide what to stock and what to write.
- To show and measure advertising, where you have consented to it.
Who we share it with
| Who | Why |
|---|---|
| Shopify | Runs this store, the checkout and the customer records. Acts as our processor. |
| Supliful | Manufactures and ships your order. Receives your name, address and what you ordered. |
| Google (Analytics and Ads) | Website analytics and advertising measurement. This includes product-level identifiers, which is the sharing most likely to carry a health inference. It runs only where you have consented. |
| Judge.me | Product reviews, if you choose to leave one. |
| Payment providers | Shopify Payments and PayPal, to take payment. They do not receive product-level detail from us for health-inference purposes. |
We do not sell consumer health data, and we do not share it with anyone for their own independent marketing.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you may ask us to:
- Confirm whether we hold consumer health data about you, and get a copy.
- Know which third parties we have shared it with, by name, with contact details.
- Withdraw your consent to our collecting or sharing it, at any time.
- Delete it. If you ask, we delete it from our live systems and our backups, and we tell the companies above to do the same. Where we are legally required to keep a record of a sale — invoices and tax records — we keep only that, and nothing more.
Exercising any of these will never change the price you pay or the service you get.
How to exercise them
Email selene@arteco-consulting.com with the email address you used to order. We reply within 1–2 business days and complete the request within 45 days, or tell you why we need longer.
You can also control advertising and analytics sharing at any time through Your Privacy Choices.
If we say no
You can appeal by replying to our decision. We will review it and respond in writing within 45 days. If we still say no, you may contact the Washington State Attorney General or the attorney general where you live.
