Certificate of analysis
Every active ingredient and its dose is printed on the label. Where a strain blend is the category norm, as in our probiotic, all four strains are named with their strain codes. Want the lab work behind it? Request the certificate of analysis — where the manufacturer provides one, and for a representative batch, not the batch in your bottle. Our quality page lists exactly what we hold for each product, including the one where what we hold is a specification sheet. We reply within 1–2 business days.

300 mg of trans-resveratrol per capsule, and a number you can check. Resveratrol is the antioxidant most people have heard of and few can tell you the dose of. Ours is on the label, and measured.*

Why women choose it

  • Antioxidant support — resveratrol helps protect cells against oxidative stress*
  • 300 mg of trans-resveratrol per capsule — from 600 mg of Polygonum cuspidatum root standardized to 50%
  • Measured, not assumed — the manufacturer's certificate for lot RVT250409 reported 50.12% resveratrol by HPLC — a certificate for a representative batch, not the batch in your bottle
  • 600 mg of trans-resveratrol a day at the manufacturer's suggested use — a meaningful dose, stated plainly

What's inside

600 mg of Japanese knotweed (Polygonum cuspidatum) root extract, standardized to 50% trans-resveratrol. Two things worth knowing about that sentence:

"Trans" is the part that matters. Resveratrol comes in two forms and the trans- isomer is the one with the research behind it. A label that says only "resveratrol 600 mg" is telling you the weight of the extract, not the dose of the active. Ours says both.

It comes from knotweed, not from wine. Every resveratrol supplement at this dose does — you would need far more red wine than anyone should drink to reach 300 mg. We would rather say so than lean on the vineyard imagery.

See the full composition (per capsule)

  • Resveratrol (Polygonum cuspidatum) (root), complex containing 50% trans-resveratrol — 600 mg
  •   of which trans-resveratrol — 300 mg
  • Other ingredients: hypromellose (vegetable capsule), microcrystalline cellulose
  • 60 capsules — a 30-day supply at the suggested one capsule twice daily

How to use

One capsule twice a day, ideally 20–30 minutes before a meal — that is the manufacturer's suggested use and what the bottle says. That works out to 600 mg of trans-resveratrol daily. If you would rather start lower, one capsule a day is 300 mg; talk to your healthcare professional about what makes sense for you.

Our quality promise

  • Manufacturer's certificate of analysis for a representative batch available on request

Questions before you buy

How much am I actually taking?

Each capsule is 600 mg of knotweed extract standardized to 50% trans-resveratrol, so 300 mg of trans-resveratrol per capsule. At the suggested one capsule twice daily that is 600 mg a day, and the bottle lasts a month.

Is 600 mg a day a lot?

It is at the higher end of what is commonly used: much of the human research sits in the 150–500 mg range, though doses of a gram a day and above have been studied. More is not automatically better with resveratrol — higher intakes are mainly associated with digestive upset rather than extra benefit. If that is more than you want, one capsule a day is 300 mg, and that is a reasonable place to start.

Is it vegetarian? Any allergens?

Yes — hypromellose vegetable capsule, no gelatin. No soy, no dairy, no gluten ingredients.

Anything to check with my doctor?

Yes, and this one has a specific reason. Resveratrol can affect how the blood clots, so talk to your healthcare professional before use if you take an anticoagulant or antiplatelet medicine, or have surgery scheduled. The same goes if you are pregnant or nursing, take any prescription medication, or have a hormone-sensitive condition — resveratrol has been studied for oestrogen-like activity in the laboratory, and that is a conversation to have with a professional rather than a reason to guess.
